Woe to You, Anita Cadonau-Huseby!

Ken Silva at Apprising Ministries is a great inspiration. I have referenced his writing over at my personal blog, and will continue to do so, provided what he says continues to line up with the Word of God. But, in this post, I don't think he was forceful enough.

You see, in that post, he referenced a group called SisterFriends Together, a group which is in a self described "spiritual partnership" with Peace Lutheran Church. I went to the website and looked around. They have a lot of writing there designed for the purpose of legitimizing their sinful homosexual lifestyle. Who runs this group? Anita Cadonau-Huseby, an alleged "minister" who has figured out how to proclaim being a "follower of Christ", while leading an unrepentant lesbian lifestyle. How do I know she's unrepentant? She has a poem called "The Straight Pill" where she says that if she could take a pill to be straight, she wouldn't. Let's unpack that.

"If I could take a pill that would help me end my lifestyle of sin, I wouldn't take it" is what she's saying. Why? The Bible is clear on homosexual behavior. It is a sin. It's a sin, just like two, unmarried straight people having sexual intercourse is a sin. However, homosexual behavior is referred to in Leviticus as "an abomination" (Leviticus 18:22). Before you jump all over me and say, "Well that's for the Israelites. It doesn't apply to us under the new covenant". If you read the VERY NEXT verse, Leviticus 18:23, it says you shouldn't have intercourse with any animal, it is a perversion. Was that just for the Israelites as well? Under the New Covenant with Christ, are we free to engage in relations with various animals? No. So that argument doesn't hold water.

My issue with Anita, and why I'm calling her out by name and saying "Woe to you" is that she justifies her sin and pulls others down with her. The entire SisterFriends Together site is one giant propaganda piece which if believed will get people into hell. Regardless of whether or not they prayed a prayer, felt sincere, felt God's love, or any of the other feel good verses, God hates your sin. He hates my sin! But His Son said the following in Luke 17:1-2:

"It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble."

Yes, God loves us all. He sent His Son to die for us, so that we might have eternal life. God made all of us. He made me. My nature (which I have to die to on a regular basis) is to lie to, and manipulate others. I also have struggled in the past with pornography, and constantly have to avert my eyes. However, this is only because of the saving grace of Jesus Christ and His Spirit in me. Without it, I'd be a wretched man, trying to control everyone around me, I'd probably be single because my wife wouldn't have stayed with me due to my former propensity for sexual sin. However, God made me who I am. I was born a certain way, yes. But I DON'T HAVE TO STAY THAT WAY.

Anita, you have turned your sin into an idol. You've made your sin part of who you are, as opposed to something to flee from. In addition to that, you've provided justification for others to continue in their sinful lifestyles. If you were attending a Bible believing church, they'd have removed you from the congregation. Not just ministry or teaching, but the congregation, per 1 Corinthians 5:9-13. It's time for you to stop misleading others, and twisting Scripture to do it. It's not too late. You can repent, ask God for forgiveness and then go out speaking the truth. I pray that you do repent and speak the truth, before God hardens your heart.

But, as of right now, you are dead wrong. Your "outreach" is nothing more than a lie straight from Hell, and if you don't stop it, you'll end up there.
